1. Product Description

VDB2606 is a beacon that integrates two wireless communication methods, WiFi and high-power Bluetooth BLE. WiFi and Bluetooth communicate through serial ports, which can be flexibly used in various scenarios. For example, remote control BLE device, receive data sent by BLE device and forward to background server, etc. The WiFi rate of VDB2606 can reach 100M, and the BLE rate can reach 1Mbps. In addition, VDB2606 supports two power supply modes: POE switch power supply and 5V adapter power supply, which makes the application more convenient. VDB2606 also has the advantages of low power consumption, disassembly, and beautiful appearance.

2. Applications

Indoor positioning :

1) The Bluetooth module in VDB2606 collects the information of nearby Beacons, including RSSI, MAC, etc., once a second.

2) The Bluetooth module will receive the Beacon information and send it to the WIFI module in the VDB2606 through the UART serial port, once a second.

3) The WIFI module receives the information from the Bluetooth module, transmits it to the designated UDP server, and can accept the information returned by the server.

4) After the UDP server receives the probe data from a certain IP, it analyzes the data and calculates to get the location information of the Beacon, which can be displayed on the front-end page, and can issue commands to the WIFI module, and the WIFI module transparently transmits it to the Bluetooth module , Customized functional development (for example: combining lamps to light up lights, etc.).
